Job Purpose Summary:

The Senior Officer - Training/Trainers creation & development is responsible for overlooking the designing of training programs, training curriculum and continuous follow up and evaluation to ensure progress and development.

S/He is responsible to ensure that all training programs meets the center requirement and International standards, S/He is also responsible for identifying future media needs and proactively suggest programs needs for the future to be worked on Now.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the training programs and their dates are inserted into the yearly plan.
  • Follow-up on and confirm the experts’ and trainers’ commitment and coordinate with the head of programs execution.
  • Assure hand over of assigned trainers/instructors to program execution to Contact the experts and trainers ahead of the program start to confirm their attendance and commitment.
  • Prepare and issue implementation cards (Main Courses – Special Courses), and send them to concerned departments and sections for their action.
  • Supervise the development of new courses with the course experts.
  • Identify new courses needs and help in creating the material for it. 
  • Plans and manage the trainers development
  • Identify new skilled trainers to intreat the network of trainers world wide
  • Prepare and send the purchase orders of the trainers to the Finance Directorate to facilitate their payment.
  • Hand over soft copy of all ready to print course material to training execution section.
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in journalism/ media, or related field is a must.
  • Ability to give full attention to the Training, Trainers and the Trainees, and to actively look for ways to improve and satisfy their needs
  • Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions, and to manage one's own time and the time of others.
