Description

Individual will make sales calls and manage accounts; extensive phone work including incoming, outgoing, and follow-up calls; concentrating on ticket sales.  This individual will facilitate season ticket packages taking, inputting, and processing of orders; problem solving with regard to season orders and ticket related events. This position will also work on marketing and 919 club membership club tasks. Pay rate: $10/hr 

Essential job functions will include: 

  • Assisting season ticket holders and single game buyers with the exchanging of tickets.
  • Assist with training, scheduling and supervision of ticket office staff. Work with Ticket Sales Manager to ensure that all staff is fully trained in handling customer issues and explaining policy regarding ticket sales and service.
  • Sales calls over the phone, and management of accounts.  Phone work including incoming, outgoing, and follow-up calls.  A willingness to actively promote all Durham Bulls ticket packages to the general public is necessary. 
  • Work with key departments to set up events, maintain seating manifests and manage the preparation and presentation of the Mako Ticket Office for Durham Bulls events.
  • Pay Rate: $10/hr

A willingness to actively promote Durham Bulls tickets to the general public is necessary.  Position requires a creative, positive, friendly, and helpful attitude and exceptional communication skills. This is a full-time, seasonal position; running approximately April/May 2024 through August/September 2024. During the 2024 baseball season, this individual must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays; will pull tarp as needed.  A college degree and one year of sports marketing and/or sales experience is preferred.
