The Durham Bulls are seeking enthusiastic, driven, and energetic individuals to join the Ticket Sales and Services team as Membership Services Trainee for Season Ticket Sales and Retention. This position is responsible for development and retention of new and renewal season tickets through outbound calls to existing Season Ticket and Mini Plan holders, development of events to drive new sales and appreciation events for current clients. This role will be responsible for seeking out and coordinating community appearances at special events to drive ticket sales.

Providing superior customer service is critical in every interaction with potential or current guests of the ballpark. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the sports industry, a self-starter with high aspersions, and a solid foundation in selling ticket packages. This includes but is not limited to having the ability to initiate phone calls, successfully manage face-to-face appointments, correspond via email, and develop innovative programs that drive ticket sales.

The successful candidate will need to acquire a full working knowledge of all Durham Bulls ticket products to successfully sell to the Triangle community. This individual must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holiday.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, sport management, marking or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.  A proven track record of at least two years of sales and services is required.  Must have the ability to life and carry up to 25lbs.  Will pull tarp as needed.
