TV Broadcast Technician Part-Time

Person needed to perform duties in the area of news production; audio board operations, audio set up, studio set-up, and other video production associated duties. Must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director to operate camera as necessary to obtain desired shots and audio mixes; suggest desirable shots to producer/director. Will operate teleprompter system as needed; assist in lighting; studio lighting experience using light meter necessary.
This individual will assist in the set-up and tear-down of equipment; sweep, clean, and pick up trash from studio scene, and work areas as required. The individual must have good written and verbal communication skills; be able to work first, second, and third shift as needed, and have good, quick decision-making abilities.
An additional work component may require operation of a vest managed steadicam; a 40-pound weight minimum is a consideration for this role - Must be able to lift, carry, and move with a minimum of 40lbs in many environments including outdoors and in extreme weather conditions.
