Summary

Reporting to the IT Director, this role will be part of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for answering incoming IT requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. This position will be visible throughout the company so the individual should have the ability and the desire to make a positive impact to the department and organization. The successful candidate will have IT support experience in a fast-paced and rapidly-growing environment.

 

 

Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Areas

  • Respond and follow up on all internal IT tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-up requests
  • Provide first-level IT support for Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2013, and a variety of other applications used internally
  • Support local and remote users
  • Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
  • Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
  • Other projects, office and administrative duties as assigned

  • Reports to Director, IT
  • Provides support and works in conjunction with both the Manager, IT and Senior Analyst, IT

 

Requirements

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience installing and configuring Windows OS, networked and local printers, and business applications
  • Windows 7 administration and troubleshooting in an Active Directory environment
  • Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2013 applications
  • Basic TCP/IP networking concepts
  • Audio/Visual setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience with IT support ticketing systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
