Summary |
Reporting to the IT Director, this role will be part of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for answering incoming IT requests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. This position will be visible throughout the company so the individual should have the ability and the desire to make a positive impact to the department and organization. The successful candidate will have IT support experience in a fast-paced and rapidly-growing environment. |
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Areas |
- Respond and follow up on all internal IT tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-up requests
- Provide first-level IT support for Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2013, and a variety of other applications used internally
- Support local and remote users
- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
- Identify recurring technical issues and propose solutions to address the root of the problems
- Other projects, office and administrative duties as assigned

Requirements | |
Knowledge & Skills - Experience installing and configuring Windows OS, networked and local printers, and business applications
- Windows 7 administration and troubleshooting in an Active Directory environment
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting Microsoft Office 2013 applications
- Basic TCP/IP networking concepts
- Audio/Visual setup and troubleshooting
- Experience with IT support ticketing systems
| Abilities - Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire and ability to quickly learn new technical concepts
- Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation
| Experience & Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 2-4 years of IT/technical support experience required
