What You'll Do

As a Business Development Executive, you will initiate and build client relationships resulting in new business while increasing CalTech’s market share in fresh and existing markets. This is primarily achieved through identifying new sales prospects, delivering high-impact proposals, and working closely with potential clients to determine which CalTech service offerings best fit their needs. You will work closely with our marketing team to identify competition and maintain a long-term strategy to compete effectively.

You will provide consultative sales experiences and act as the primary representative to the customer prior to onboarding.  You will have a supportive team assisting you with proposals, pricing, and project plans.  As a BDE you will assist and mentor the Business Development Associate and Business Development Representative team members.  Additionally, you will work closely with the CEO to develop and execute CalTech’s sales strategy, meet sales goals, and increase market share. A necessary skill will be effectively negotiating and closing pursuits resulting in profitable new business for CalTech.

You will play a critical role in attending community banking events and establishing sessions designed to educate prospects while tastefully marketing our services.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is high-energy with competitive sales and financial industry knowledge; technical sales experience is a plus.  Three to five years of professional sales experience is preferred, along with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual goals and quotas.

Working Conditions

This position involves in-office work and approximately 40% travel to business meetings, industry events, and conferences.  The primary sales territory includes Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska; additional opportunities are available in other states and verticals.  Some overtime hours and after-business hours will be required, as well as the use of a personal vehicle for job-related travel with mileage reimbursement.
