Position Available: 

Tier 1 Engineer
The Tier 1 Engineer job functions are focused on repairing computers and printers inside and outside the CalTech office. A Tier 1 Engineer is the first line of client telephone technical support and support for the company office. Being customer service oriented is key! Basic working knowledge of personal computers and printers required. College degree preferred. Some after-hours work required.

Certifications:

Must complete and obtain either a current A+, Network + or Security + certification and a current Microsoft Specialist desktop operating system certification within 120 days after start of employment.  CalTech provides our employees with a vast amount of study material and even helps to pay the cost of the certifications. To graduate to Tier 2 you will need to obtain your CCNA.  

Job Growth Potential: 

Tier 3 Engineer: 
You will be accountable for all aspects of Information Technology provided to our clients. This position includes - but is not limited to - the design, installation, implementation, and troubleshooting of the physical network and the network operating system. 

Certifications: 

In order to reach Tier 3, you must have and maintain any one of the following: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP), or Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
