Director of Sales, Agencies - Brighton
Brandwatch builds smart software solutions that help our clients capture, analyze and share insights from social media helping inform impactful business decisions. Home to over 300 people, from 30 different nations, we have offices in seven diverse cities across the globe.
We continually look to delight our customers, and over the years we have built strong partnerships with well known brands and agencies. We don’t want to stop there. We already have agreements in place with most of the group agencies but we want them all! Plus we have a goal to leverage our existing relationships to go deeper into these key clients - that’s where you come in!
We are on the hunt for a Director of Sales, Agencies. You will be an established commercial manager with sales chops and a fire in your belly to passionately drive Brandwatch forward, resulting in new and increased subscription revenue. This role is intrinsic to the success of the Agency Sales team and will be responsible for all agency sales in the UK, the targets are ambitious but the team is motivated and driven to succeed.
You will have worked your way up through the commercial ranks, with experience to match, and be able to provide additional new perspective to help conclude knottier deals. Sales jargon means little, delivery is everything.
The ideal person will likely have experience of:
- Leading a high performing sales team
- Being a role-model, coach and mentor; providing advice, supporting sales, attending prospect meetings and helping tie up loose ends
- Working in a SaaS business, ideally focusing on Agency Enterprise level sales
- Selling into the group agencies - building those top level relationships to support the team is a key requirement
- Forecasting and delivering on monthly and quarterly revenue goals
And of course
- Have authenticity and integrity, able to empathise with and push the team when needed
- Get the best out of each team member, their success is your success
This is a fantastic opportunity within a growing business with a motivated team and a great product. Reporting into the EVP of Revenue, this role will have a huge impact on the performance of Brandwatch in EMEA.
