The Food Service Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling the company's food products to all food service establishments in the West Coast. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with a proven track record of sales success, and experience in the food industry. The person will be heavily operator sales focused and closely engaged directly with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with food service establishments in the West Coast.
- Maintain and build relationships with existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales and promotion strategies.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the company's products.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report regularly to the sales manager.
- Manage and educate brokers on how to sell Blount products.
- Maintain and build relationships with distributors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the food industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Should live in California or Arizona.
