  • Create 3d assets ranging from hard surface structures to organic foliage
  • Work with various materials from hand painted diffuse to PBR workflows
  • Interpret concept designs while considering technical and design constraints such as draw calls, poly counts, texture memory limits, and gameplay boundaries
  • Use your sense of composition, layout, and color to push the environment mood to its fullest potential
  • Communicate with various other disciplines to ensure all assets are performant
  • Participate in R&D efforts to develop new techniques and improve the art pipeline
  • Work collaboratively with other artists, designers and engineers on a daily basis
  • Work independently or in small groups to troubleshoot and provide solutions to production issues related to asset creation and migration across platforms
  • Take on additional responsibilities on a project need basis
  • Continue building your skills learning new software and studying industry trends, and traditional art

  • 5+ years creating professional environment art assets in the video game industry
  • Shipped at least one AAA title or mobile video game as a Senior Environment Artist
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of anatomy, facial anatomy and how it applies to animation
  • Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop skills
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and meeting aggressive performance targets
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Experience with Unreal Engine strongly preferred
  • Exceptional high-poly and low-poly modeling skills
  • Strong knowledge of materials and lighting
  • Strong knowledge of node based shaders


Bachelor’s Degree in 3D Art or relevant industry experience
