Description

Associate Producers are expected to be self-starters with a meticulous attention to detail. Associate Producers work closely with the development team, internal and external QA, outsource vendors and publishers to drive their projects from start to finish. Associate Producers must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, highly technical environment and be able to effectively communicate with many different personality types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record detailed meeting minutes and then identify, track, and follow-up on action items
  • Update and manage tasks and bugs through a project tracking tool (Previous experience with JIRA is a plus.)
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and provide suggestions for improvements
  • Knowledge and passion for gaming (Console experience a plus)
  • Facilitation of the development process with internal and external stakeholders

(Experience with box.com or other collaboration tools a plus)

  • Assisting with milestone documentation review, editing, and completion
  • Work closely with QA department on both internal and external teams
  • Research and documentation
  • Assisting Producer, Senior Producer, and Executive Producer with production related tasks

Experience:

  • Experience in console/handheld video game production (AAA Console experience a plus)
  • Highly organized and self-directed; able to stay focused on many high priority tasks with minimal supervision, required
  • Ability to ask for help when needed is required
  • Deadline driven and detail-oriented – a strategic thinker who also has a high attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Word & Excel (required), PowerPoint (a plus)
  • General Computer and Internet skills required
  • Great communication skills required
  • Ability to speak in a group required
  • Resourceful, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • General A/V tech knowledge required
  • Some travel maybe required 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/ or
    1-2 year work experience in Associate Producer role


Other Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • CSM or other production related certifications a plus
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts between budget, schedule and scope
  • Experience collaborating with licencors on video games a plus
  • Specialization such as engineering, art, audio, or other related field, a plus
