Strategic Innovation Intern
The Strategic Innovation Intern will support 3 of the 4 Pillars of the SIT Operating model: Customer Advocacy, 1: Many, and Process transformations & Workshops. The SIT Operating Model helps advance BlackLine customers’ journey; these pillars provide coaching, advisory services, one to many events for thought leadership, customer to customer interactions, process transformations, user enablement and adoption techniques, Art of the Possible transformations, as well as, use case documentation.
The Strategic Innovation Intern will develop an understanding of the customer base and their challenges and focus their internship on documenting use cases and BlackLine solutions that solve accounting challenges and are applicable/relatable to other BlackLine customers or Prospects.
The Intern will work directly with the Strategic Innovation Managers as they interact with customers and/or SAMs, support a 1:Many event, and ultimately bring those learnings along and showcase common accounting challenges and how to leverage the BlackLine Platform to improve those challenges. These Use Cases are critical as we help demonstrate the value of Blackline to existing customers and/or prospects.
The Intern will also have an opportunity to support a workshop and help capture opportunities where BlackLine can be leveraged for that customer.
This Internship role provides a chance to step beyond just doing accounting but partnering with SIT and helping our customers advance their journey and better leverage the BlackLine platform. This is an incredible opportunity to think outside the box, challenge the status quo and learn how to document the value of automation solutions.
What You’ll Do:
· Shadow customer and/or SAM planning/strategy/coaching calls
· Support workshops where SIT shows the Art of the Possible using customer data and processes to help them advance their journey
· Document common accounting challenges and how the BlackLine platform can solve those challenges
