Process Engineer Intern
Description
The Process Engineer Intern will provide support on ongoing studies and projects in the Industrialization department.
Primary Duties:
1. Support department projects through lab scale or scale-up process/product development studies, product and process validation.
2. Assist in the analysis of process and product performance data to identify trends to predict potential failures and to aid in solving product and process problems
3. Perform a variety of testing using analytical chemistry and/or microbiological methods and instruments.
4. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, skills and experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- No previous experience required
- Should currently be enrolled in a degree program, associates or college. Preferable programs include but are not limited to Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Materials Science, or similar fields.
- Basic problem solving when presented with a task or issue is expected
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Preferred coursework experience in product development or process development
