Position Summary:

The IS department at bioMérieux is looking for a highly collaborative individual who values working for a company that cares about its team members and our overall goal of improving world health. This position supports a full-time hybrid work model with every other Friday off. The IS Project Managers primary purpose and overall objective is to ensure execution and delivery of project objectives in adherence with the company methodology through management of all project dimensions: Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Performance. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of the companies’ Quality System.
  • Own corporate and project objectives and key success factors defined during the project definition phase; design the project scope, deadlines, and budget.
  • Define the project plan, including critical milestones from launch to closing, according to selected implementation methodology. Implement the project activities in adherence with project objectives.
  • Define, monitor and report on project costs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to project budget.
  • Lead a cross-functional team; coordinate and supervise the activities of team members. Confirm resource requirements and discuss necessary adjustments with resource managers to ensure availability.
  • Manage the project risk analysis and manage implementation of associated risk reduction measures. Escalate to the ad hoc project governance instance if necessary.
  • Identify, prioritize and proactively monitor changes that may affect the project.
  • Ensure that all the elements necessary for the success of the project are identified, defined and monitored throughout the project life cycle.
  • Identify and implement change management in response to business drivers.
  • Communicate progress against the objectives of the project to all stakeholders.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of information systems project or program management/coordination required
    • In lieu of a degree, high school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in information systems project or program management/coordination is required
    • Experience in infrastructure is a plus (networks, servers, hardware installation, installation projects)
    • PMP is a plus but not required 
       
    • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus 
  • Experience managing large, complex and diverse projects
  • Experience managing projects using different delivery models
  • Experience managing projects with many stakeholders with different/competing priorities
