Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive Big Monitoring Fabric (Big Mon) business through broader market adoption and thought leadership
  • Engage with sales team for pre-sales activities and customer discussions
  • Identify use cases and differentiating feature to ensure product success and continually drive innovation
  • Write product requirements, manage product and release execution, and define product roll-out strategy 
  • Collaborate with our elite engineering team to build the right software capabilities to address those use cases and to deliver high-quality products on-time
  • Perform market/competitive analysis, product feature prioritization and clearly articulate decisions and tradeoffs
  • Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, competition pricing and market trends while taking costs and demand into consideration.
  • Collaborate with TME and outbound marketing on product collateral, events and other external interactions.
  • Train and drive product mind-share and adoption across partners and sales teams
  • Become BCF subject matter expert in front of customers (external and internal) in both pre and post sales situations
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Travel as required

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in computer science, electrical engineering or similar technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in network packet broker and/or Data Center networking technology
  • Strong business background (ex. MBA, Product Management or Marketing) desired
  • Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies
  • Entrepreneurship, "can do" attitude, and ability and willingness to make an impact
  • Strong experience in Network Packet Broker space, network / application performance monitoring / security
  • Experience in Networking, virtualization and cloud experience in datacenter infrastructure product/solution offerings
  • Must have business acumen and ability to build business cases, communicate effectively with professionally done presentations and write-ups, influence others, and measure success
  • Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain satisfactory working relationships with both the client and internal staff members and to deal effectively with conflicts
  • Get personally invested and involved in driving cross functional alignment, execution, and results
