ABOUT US:  
Bernick’s is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee.  We service locations in greater MN and western WI.   
 
The Soft Drink Sales Manager is responsible for leading and driving change in the sales, delivery, and merchandising activities within their assigned area of responsibility.  They are also responsible for assisting the VP of Soft Drink Sales with the establishment of monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives and the attainment of those objectives.
 
Core responsibilities:
Member Developme
  • Direct and monitor the Soft Drink Sales Team in the areas of sales, placements, distribution, product rotation, code dates, pricing, POS, displays, and cooler position/sets.
  • Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
  • Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful channel and partner programs as well as local and national programs.
  • Meet or Exceed set KPI’s and other performance goals including Volume, Margin, Out Date/Breakage, and New Product Distribution
  • Create and maintain annual budget
Strong candidates have:
 
  • Bachelors Degree in Sales and Marketing and 5 years of experience in a sales and marketing managing position
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
  • Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations
  • Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects 
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with customers, Team Members, and partners 
  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment
HOURS: Full-time   
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-5:00PM or completion
  • Occasional night/weekend work
  • Hours may vary with the benefits and challenges that come with the beverage industry
