Our fantastic Finance department is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. We are located in the Lewisville, TX area. Our team supports the regions that cross 31 states with 216 treatment locations!

JOB SUMMARY

 

Reports financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports.
Travel as necessary.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  2. Prior experience with acquisition modeling and due diligence including IRR, NVP, and break-even analysis
  3. Prior experience performing financial analysis responsibilities including budgets, forecasts and variance analysis (5+ years)
  4. Solid quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with advanced experience in Excel and Excel Modeling
  5. Experience with Great Plains and associated reporting tools preferred (such as FRX and Management Reporter) preferred
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  7. CPA or MBA, preferred
  8. VBA and/or SQL experience, preferred
  9. Prior healthcare experience, preferred
  10. High capacity for strategic thought and the ability to solve complex business problems
  11. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
  12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executive, managers, and subject matter experts
  13. Strong attention to detail in analytical assessments; experienced in developing and maintaining high quality reports and assessments
  14. The ability to work independently and operate effectively in a cross-functional environment
  15. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage time in a deadline-driven environment
  16. Minimum 5 years of work experience required, preferably in private equity
  17. Ability to multi-task and handle large volume of detail work accurately and efficiently and meet deadlines
  18. Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices
  19. Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers
  20. Satisfactory criminal background check

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Work with Business Development team to develop acquisition models that include business valuation metrics such as discounted cash flow, net present value and earnings multiples
  2. Work closely with operations and senior management team to develop annual operating budgets including detailed income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  3. Update and maintain strategic planning models including 3 and 5 year plans
  4. Tracks financial status by monitoring and explaining variances from plan or forecast
  5. Determines financial status by comparing and analyzing plans and forecasts with actual results
  6. Improves financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
  7. Increases productivity by developing automated applications; eliminating duplicates; coordinating information requirements
  8. Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
  9. Create and maintain models and reports based on internal databases and third party vendor information
  10. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  11. Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  12. Support integration of acquisitions into the operations and financial accounting process
  13. Support Programs by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries
  14. Support the annual financial audit process and special audits during the year
  15. Remain composed in a stressful environment and deal with frequent deadlines and multiple priorities
  16. Follow instructions and use critical thinking skills to make decisions
  17. Comply with internal financial controls, policies and procedures
