We are seeking a Weekend Security Guard for the E. Street  in our             Fresno,California location.

Weekend Security Guard, monitor busy drug treatment program for loiterers and illegal activity. Able to provide good customer service. Able to handle incoming phone calls, light computer work. Early hours, 5:30 am to 1:30 pm. Some weekend work for coverage.

  1. Greets all patients and visitors, and provides excellent customer service.
  2. Assists patients by identifying and directing them to the appropriate staff for necessary services.
  3. May flag cards to remind patients that they have an appointment. If patient needs lab instructions for the following day's appointment the receptionist directs the patient to the Secretary.
  4. Assists with the provision of primary medical care services.
  5. Restocks information bins.
  6. Ensures regular attendance at work.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
  8. Prevents disturbances and altercations (maintains order and control).
  9. Maintains security throughout the building.
  10. Creates orderly waiting line; have patients stand in single file while they are waiting to receive medication.
  11. Performs crowd control (makes sure that after dosing, patients leave the clinic immediately, unless they have an appointment to see a staff person).
  12. Performs security check of facility at regular intervals throughout the day.
  13. Reports and documents incidents whenever trouble or problems occur to the Operations Director and/or Clinic Director.
  14. May perform janitorial and facilities work as needed.
  15. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills. 
• Must be reliable and punctual. 
• At least two years of experience in a security position, preferably in a healthcare setting. 
• Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred, as is a security officer permit issued by the state of California..
