Envision yourself at Barracuda    
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for managing production services and will work with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of services for Barracuda’s cloud-first SASE platform, Barracuda SecureEdge. You will work in a small, international, agile team environment and adhere to an iterative development process through planning, testing, and deployment.

  • Public Cloud: Azure, AWS
  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Argo Rollouts, Kargo, Crossplane, Terraform
   
What you’ll be working on   
  • Ensure service reliability and uptime for cloud services and the new Barracuda network security platform
  • Troubleshoot customer-related issues across the entire stack: hardware, software, application, and network
  • Participate in on-call rotation, if required
  • Collaborate with internal groups to identity, develop, and deploy manageable, scalable, and robust services
  • Participate in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new and existing services
What you bring to the role   
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years professional experience with 3+ years proficiency in public cloud, especially Azure
  • Demonstrated experience with containers and Kubernetes
  • Understanding of networking and the OSI model
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and best practices
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Proven record of successful practical problem solving and excellent communication and documentation skills
