Abrigo is seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist with a deep understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and cloud technologies, specifically AWS. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing data-driven strategies to address complex business challenges, drive growth, and improve decision-making processes.

What You’ll Do:    

  • Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of data science solutions using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics techniques. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to identify business objectives, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable data science projects. 
  • Utilize your expertise in AWS to architect and build scalable data solutions, ensuring optimal data storage, integration, and accessibility. 
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and uncover hidden patterns, trends, and correlations. 
  • Develop and deploy data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure smooth and efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AWS technologies, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance existing models and processes. 
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. 

     

What You’ll Need:     

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience (7+ years) working as a Data Scientist, with a focus on developing and implementing data-driven solutions. 
  • Expertise in Snowflake, and AWS services, including but not limited to S3, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and SageMaker. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and familiarity with libraries and frameworks for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow). 
  • Extensive experience with statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics techniques. 
  • Solid understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
