Description

Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the overall administration, maintenance and control of Autocar’s Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system parameters and business configuration of the system and their alignment with the company’s business processes and policies.  The role is a control point for all system access, parameter maintenance, data integrity and reliability, and compliance audits.


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  •              Maintain MRP and supply chain parameters, periodically audit how they are applied, and notify management of non-conformance
  •              Evaluate and assess existing and new MRP system parameters and system and process controls and identify root cause corrective actions. 
  •              Efficiently and accurately troubleshoot issues with inventory, and perform general item master data maintenance as needed to identify opportunities for increased data accuracy
  •              Create/recommend system/process solutions and modifications that increase productivity.
  •              Review all purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with agreed upon processes and procedures.  Escalate issues to manager as needed.
  •              Assist in updating PO due dates as needed by management
  •              Run and review KPI reports for the Supply Chain department
  •              Back up inventory planners if a planner is on vacation or sick
  •              Document business processes for supply chain as needed
  •              Test QAD MRP changes for the Supply Chain department before they move to production
  •              Process unplanned receipts
  •              Maintain clean and organized work area.
  •              Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift.
  •              Perform other duties as required


REQUIREMENTS

 

  •              3+ year+ business experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management
  •              4 year degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, mathematics or similar degrees
  •              3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
  •              Strong Knowledge of Tier 1 ERP systems – focusing on MRP
  •              Very Detail oriented
  •              Strong Excel and other MS Office programs and applications
  •              Strong SQL and data mining skills
  •              Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  •              Proficiency in time management, handling multiple priorities and written and oral communication skills.
  •              Must be able to build strong relationships yet be assertive enough to ensure delivery and quality
