Key Responsibilities

          Create training programs that support the development of Key Talents based on the assessment done by the Executive Leadership team

          Conduct training needs analysis at individual, department, and plant levels

          Manage and/or develop education and training budget. Obtain funding to support training plans

          Develop and implement appropriate annual training plans and monitor the completion of them, by managing training records to ensure effective tracking and compliance

          Schedule all training in most efficient way to maintain production schedules

          Manage training facilities (meaning) ensure facilities, supplies, etc. are in order

          Manage Inventory of Trainers & Vendors to deliver training

          Identify potential internal trainers and certify them as train of trainers

          Evaluate Technical / Non-Technical training and measure the impact/effectiveness of them (data collection, analysis, and reporting)

          Report-out status to the Executive Team to ensure alignment with the business objectives

 

Required Skills

  • Highly organized self-starter comfortable leading and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to evaluate skill requirements of the organization and develop solutions to fill gaps.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals and leadership within and outside the authority.
  • Demonstrated capability as a project manager, delivering on complex employee development and learning programs.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
