Vice President of Business Development, Marketing and National Accounts

The Vice President of Business Development, Marketing and National Accounts is responsible for driving revenue generation and profitability by developing a robust private label business/product line, marketing products to our customers, evolving our ecommerce prowess, growing our national account business. 

You will be responsible for developing and executing business plans which are completely aligned to the overall strategy. This will be accomplished by developing detailed marketing plans (i.e., go to market plans, launch plans, sales plans, etc.) and executing on the plans. Success will be measured by if we hit our annual operating plans by product line, managing the P&L, and delivering on financial goals for the parts business.   This role will manage and direct the activities of marketing, product development, business development, ecommerce, and national accounts.  This role reports directly to the President.



Managing and growing National accounts

Evolve our ecommerce platform

Create and deliver on marketing plans (i.e., go to market, launch, ROI, etc.)

Enhance and grow the private label program through an exclusive and comprehensive product and service portfolio management, product lifecycle planning, marketing and brand management, as well as pricing optimization

Work with the President to identify what business partnerships, acquisitions, and growth opportunities we will pursue, how we will engage, and what we are capable of producing in alignment with financial targets

Build strong relationships with key customers by providing category and customer thought leadership, building joint business plans and seeking other opportunities to engage that result in business growth

Establish direct measurable performance metrics for all aspects of assigned areas. Review and evaluate the performance on a continuing basis, executing action plans to correct issues and continually improve performance to achieve strategic and financial objectives

Interface with cross-functional business teams

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus

Previous experience in new product development, go to market initiatives, marketing

Strategic experience in approaching categories and sourcing events (balancing, cost, risk and performance)

Previous experience calling on National Accounts

Previous experience with P&L management

Strong Ecommerce background

Proven track record of driving successful aftermarket parts/businesses through marketing, business development, and national accounts

Strong marketing background

Excellent presentation skills and ability to develop customer relationships

Excellent marketing skills with strong business savvy and financial acumen

Excellent leadership skills combined with ability to influence cross-functional partners

Extensive experience and skills in project management and process development

Experience managing and developing direct reports

Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience a strong plus

Strong critical thinking and analytical ability
