The QAD Business Systems Analyst, is responsible for developing and implementing the enterprise-wide QAD business strategy while partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure stable and secure business solutions align with Company’s architecture standards and practices. You will: Develop and oversees the implementation of long- and short-term strategic plan for QAD that aligns with our strategic priorities, business requirements/needs and resource planning (significantly limited customization requirements). Provide business guidance, strategy development, and project management for all QAD Implementation activities including developing best practices, processes and policies, identifying relevant supporting tools and technologies, implementing program governance, and leading the underlying innovation. Establish and maintain productive relationships with our functional leaders to ensure alignment of efforts with business needs, systems, and our IT Department. Ensure IT function delivers consistent and cost-effective QAD programs, upgrades and management services (limiting customization to enhance this process). Partner with IT and the Project Management Office to establish goals, service levels objectives and continuous improvement initiatives related to implementation (and upgrades as necessary/version release) Manage project to ensure that specifications are met and adhere to the business policies and practices that the company has endorsed. Build and maintain vendor relationships and manage the purchase of hardware and software. Adapts functional business requirements and processes to technical solutions based upon comprehensive enterprise application solution sets. Enterprise resource planning and management processes, including but not limited to: knowledge management, investment analysis, data warehousing, e-commerce, return on investment analysis, human resource analysis, material management and logistics, supply chain management, procurement, ordering, manufacturing, decision support, and information dissemination. Ensues that the business goals are in line with the technological goals.
Where will you work? This role is located in the Chicagoland reporting into GVW/Autocar Part’s Companies in Rolling Meadows, IL.
