Collection Specialist

We are looking to hire a Bilingual Collection Specialist Agent to join our growing team. Our Billing team works with our existing customers across the country providing solutions to their billing needs.


  • Perform consultative sessions on inbound and outbound calls to discuss payment options, processing payments and payment date changes
  • Contact customers and establish reason for past due account situation, make collection arrangements for payments to bring account current
  • Review assigned accounts at specified intervals to perform collection follow ups
  • Assist the team in achieving monthly collection goals
  • Assist Manager on specially assigned projects

Our Billing Collection Specialist Possess:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a phone intensive customer service environment
  • Thrives working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Must be a self-starter, adaptable to new concepts and exhibit a strong initiative
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and decision-making under pressure
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management skills including a strong work ethic and results oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collection experience a plus
