Description

A Manager manages client, smaller new business, and thought leadership projects, driving to insights and implications that point to business opportunities and growth. Manages all phases of analyses, from articulating project requirements to delivery and follow-up of best-in-class deliverable. The Manager typically manages and/or contributes to projects across 2 large clients and 1 small to mid-sized client.

Strategic Insight & Implication Development

  • Deep knowledge of site and other digital analytics tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, mobile and social analytics platforms)
  • Experience with survey design and research analysis
  • Experience with experimental test design (e.g., A/B split) preferred
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts such as probability, sampling, and statistical significance
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and conceptual ability
  • Generates appropriate hypotheses as part of hypothesis-driven analysis
  • Ensures high quality deliverables and responsible for quality of all deliverables on all projects
  • Delivers business and analytics insights that inform and optimize creative work

 

Project Management

  • Independently manages multiple analytics projects concurrently; ability to work independently
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to execute against multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment
  • Demonstrates ability to manage up and down
  • Leads development of project timelines and budgets and tracks progress against those timelines and budgets
  • Effectively manages internal and external project resources
  • Develops proposals and SOWs based on identified opportunities

 

Client Management

  • Grows credibility with clients by exceeding client expectations and delivering best-in-industry analytics insights
  • Collaborates with the client to procure all inputs needed to produce analytic deliverables
  • Understands client organizational dynamics and works well to adapt to changing client needs
  • Independently solves or appropriately reroutes complex client issues
  • Identifies opportunities for incremental work

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in communicating with client stakeholders and senior leadership on complex topics based on high quality research, analysis, and interpretation; demonstrates presence in meetings and presentations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics) or business, communications, or marketing from a leading undergraduate institution required. Advanced degree from a leading program preferred. An ideal candidate will also have 5+ years of analytics experience (preferably in digital, advertising, or market research industries), be highly self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment, have strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills, and exhibit an aptitude for business and marketing insights and implications. Aptitude for creating analytic solutions and visualizations using platforms such as Tableau preferred. Additionally, candidates should have past experience in managing and contributing to multiple projects concurrently.
