What will you be doing?

As our sales team and the business continue to grow, we are looking for ambitious and self-motivated individuals to join our collaborative and successful team.  You will need high emotional intelligence and business acumen to match.  Are you keen to push yourself outside your comfort zone and work in a continually evolving industry?  Build a real name for yourself as a specialist in the commodity markets data space for a business established for over 50 years.

 

We are seeking passionate, driven graduates who show a clear motivation to succeed within our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to establish and grow their career within a global company. This two-year graduate programme will allow you to work with different departments, offering a rich and varied career for intellectually curious and commercially driven minds. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

 

In the training scheme, you will

  • Have the opportunity to work in different sectors of sales, customer Success, spending six months in each position.
  • Have a dedicated mentor in each placement to help guide and support you in your career goals.
  • Gain hands-on experience by working alongside teams of passionate people.
  • Have access to additional training through LinkedIn Learning and Mennta training programmes.
  • By the end of the programme, you will be competent in working within our Sales/Customer Success departments.

 

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Provide excellent customer experience to Argus clients, from smooth onboarding to resolving queries within the desired service level agreement.
  • Utilise the CRM to track accounts throughout their subscription lifecycle, analyse client usage trends and identify tactics to drive growth and protect revenues.
  • Provide demonstrations, clarify client details and needs, and evaluate new business opportunities related to price assessment, new products and improvements to the existing product line.
  • Gather as much information on the company and participate in on-the-job training.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
  • Compile reports and make presentations to other staff members.
  • Analyse existing systems and offer new ideas for improvement.
  • Conduct research and assist the Manager or Supervisor wherever possible.

 

What we’re looking for in you

  • 2024 graduates with a bachelor’s degree in commerce, economics, finance or a related field
  • Ability to learn quickly, to multi-task and to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Good writing skills
  • People who are positive, self­­-motivating, well-organised, and inquisitive by nature

Hours

Monday through Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. 

Earlier or later hours, or weekend hours, may be expected on occasion.
