What we’re looking for  

The Subscriptions Administrator will work in our London global headquarters within the subscription management team. The billing process is centralised, therefore the candidate will be responsible for the invoicing needs of all Argus Global subsidiaries. Key relationships will be formed with our Sales Reps and Sales Operations teams. The individual will also need to demonstrate good organisation and time management skills, as well as being able to work efficiently on their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Processing up to 50-100 sales orders and invoices into our NetSuite system on a daily basis. The billing primarily relates to invoicing of our Subscription services, but also includes Conference and Consulting services
  • Ensuring the billing is in line with our rules and internal policies. This includes strict checking practices to verify tax rates are correct, enforcing the company’s proforma rules, checking paperwork validity etc
  • Identifying and pushing back any queried deals which are incorrect or missing relevant information
  • Granting special billing requirements outside of standard terms, i.e. split billing, invoicing in alternative currencies to USD, approving/rejecting extended payment term requests
  • Processing more complex billing scenario’s, i.e. mergers and rebates, invoicing large corporate clients
  • Develop an understanding of the Book of Business plan which is the target structure of the Sales Reps. Updates and adjustments to this plan will be required
  • Posting hard copies of invoices, and submitting pdf copies to online portals when required
  • Liaising with our Credit Control team and Sales Reps to help resolve client queries
  • Updating Argus Direct on a regular basis to give/revoke access to our subscriptions for new joiners/leavers
  • Processing Cheques and Banking

     

Skills and Experience  

   

  • Experience working in a commercial Accounts department
  • Good Excel skills. Oracle NetSuite experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and process management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, and manage a high volume of routine tasks. Experience in working towards tight deadlines is essential
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
