Program Management Specialist

The Program Management Specialist is a consulting senior associate that provides strategic and operational program and portfolio management support for large, complex Federal programs. They have an ability to balance and track multiple priorities, a desire to provide trusted advice to stakeholders, and at least 8-10 years working in a relevant complex environment. This includes 3-5 years of relevant experience in organizing, tracking, and reporting on projects for Federal agencies.
Arc Aspicio is currently working a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at the time of employment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Government leadership on the program portfolio and short and long-term strategic priorities and goals, external data calls, and program reporting requirements
- Coordinate with leadership across the program to track associated actions, risks, and due dates
- Support project-level and program-level interactions and meetings within the program, agency, Government, and external stakeholders as required
- Attend on-site program activities to proactively manage priorities, meetings, interactions, and coordination
- Assist Government leadership prepare for and review briefings for Federal and non-Government senior leadership, technical experts, or stakeholder meetings as required
- Support Government leadership meetings by developing agendas, facilitating meetings, coordinating input and expectations with Government and contractor attendees, and tracking assigned actions to completion
- Facilitate executive-level and dashboard reporting from program branches to Government leadership
- Assist in identifying and assessing risks that need additional documentation and escalation
- Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
- Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years working in a professional consulting environment managing and supporting large, complex programs, preferably with Information Technology projects and programs
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in organizing, tracking, and reporting on a portfolio of programs and projects for Government agencies
- Direct experience with senior clients and stakeholder engagement and delivering work products for clients in a complex stakeholder environment
- Ability to apply independent thought leadership and problem-solving capabilities to solve complex challenges
- Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
- Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
- Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
- Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area in different locations multiple days of the week
- Ability to travel out-of-town to support meetings, conferences, and program initiatives
- Clearance: US Citizenship only (no dual citizenship)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
