Manager, User Experience Design - ML
Description
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define and execute the long-term roadmap for our AI agent product line.
- Evolve our AI components to ensure best-in-class experiences for customers.
- Act as a high-visibility advocate for the design team, solving complex challenges in the emerging field of agent-based UX.
- Coach designers and remove blockers to ensure the team delivers measurable outcomes connected to business goals.
- Establish design standards and lead the implementation of evaluation frameworks (Evals) to optimize agent accuracy and interaction quality.
- Ensure the team addresses bias in AI representation and maintains high standards for inclusive, transparent experiences.
- Deep understanding of designing for AI technologies, specifically Large Language Models and autonomous agents.
- Expertise in leading teams through high-complexity problems via structured discovery and iterative prototyping.
- Proven ability to translate complex design rationale into business impact to secure cross-functional buy-in.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate trade-offs between quality, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- 6+ years in UX/Product Design, with at least 2 years in a dedicated people management role.
- Demonstrated experience designing for AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, or intelligent systems.
- Experience thriving in "0-to-1" environments and defining new best practices.
- Work samples demonstrating complex problem-solving in enterprise software, platform design, or AI products.
