Intern, Client Services - Fall 2019

Client service interns are someone who has graduated from college and who is ready to play a key role on APCO Worldwide's client service teams on a full-time basis. They contribute to a broad range of project work in areas that may range from crisis communications and corporate responsibility to health care and technology.
Assignments for this position may include:
- Assisting in the development of client proposals
- Conducting media relations
- Monitoring of issues or news
- Researching topics and issues and analyzing findings
- Writing, editing and proofreading of client deliverables
- Identifying and compiling lists of media contacts
- Conducting office administration tasks
Performing other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and attentive to detail. Applicants are expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong writing ability, experience successfully balancing multiple tasks, and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.

This is for a 3-month, 40 hours a week plus overtime internship starting October 1, 2019 that may be extended, upon mutual agreement, for up to 6 months or could lead to a full-time position at APCO pending performance and openings.
