External Consultant will be responsible for supporting team on various existing and upcoming projects.
- Provide day-to-day support to assigned project teams by conducting desktop research and drafting reports for clients (i.e. policy research memo, media monitoring report, client briefing materials, etc.)
- Online research and reports on media, markets, stakeholders, and policies
- Translation (written Korean to English and vice versa)
- Drafting presentation materials
- Database development (researching relevant media contacts and compiling lists for various industries and accounts)
- Call-ups including pitches
- Event coordination support
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, responsible and who knows how to work under pressured environment (i.e. under tight deadlines, knows how to prioritize client works and etc). As we need to do policy research which often includes reading legislation docs from government, candidate who can also understand some of the difficult legislation terms will be a great asset.
For qualifications, it would be great if the candidate has certain work experience, either internship or full-time (1~2 years), at communications industry or research firm.
In terms of employment type, currently we are looking for freelancer (6 months long, contractor position) but, we are open for transitioning the candidate to full time position next year when the business situation becomes more predictable or even relocation opportunity to Singapore office.
