Client service interns play a key role on APCO Worldwide's client service teams. They focus on APCO's diverse client service groups while contributing to a broad range of project work, offering each intern a wide variety of experiences.
 
APCO's client service groups include:
- Government Relations
- Corporate Communication and Issues Management
- Health Care/Health Policy
- Food and Consumer Products
- Technology
- Energy and Clean Tech
- Financial
- Telecommunications
- Associations
- Nonprofit and NGO
- Transportation and Infrastructure
 
Assignments for this position may include:
- Monitoring of issues or news
- Social media research
- Assist with online community management
- Identifying and compiling lists of media contacts
- Researching topics and issues and analyzing findings
- Editing and proofreading of client deliverables
- Assisting in the development of client proposals
- Contributing to brainstorms and communications plans
- Performing other duties as assigned
 
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, entrepreneurial, comfortable in a fast-paced environment and attentive to detail. Applicants are expected to have excellent written and oral communication skills, experience successfully balancing multiple tasks and extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office.
