The Group Sales Manager is responsible for building and maintaining client relationships to achieve established goals in set markets.  This person is responsible for servicing their client groups in an exceptional manor while harmonizing the culture, mission, keys and quality standards to assure maximized potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain client relationships to achieve established goals
  • Coordinate and participate in various events and activities (blitzes, expositions, fairs, family trips, site inspections, etc.)
  • Design and work within a market plan. Maintain client/account file database according to hotel standards
  • Meet solicitation and maintenance call requirements to achieve individual and annual sales team goals
  • Evaluate business from a variety of sources and present questionable business to yield team at daily business review
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel services/features and hours of operation
Requirements:
  • Two Years of Hotel Sales Experience at Four Star hotel or above.
  • Strong Client Database
  • Familiar with frequently used Standard Operations Procedures
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Basic knowledge of how to operate all Office Equipment
  • Proficient with Opera, Delphi, Word and Excel
  • Maintain a well groomed appearance
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work station
  • Basic knowledge of property management and central reservation systems
  • Out of State Travel Required
  • Must have Drivers License
  • Oversee and assist the sales coordinators for optimum sales office production.
