The Hard Rock Hotel Chicago is looking for an Assistant F&B Outlets Manager to join the team!  

The F&B Outlet Manager, in coordination with the Director of Food & Beverage, is responsible for overseeing all Chuck’s, Mr. Brown’s Lounge, and IRD employees and responsibilities including but not limited to developing and maintaining quality standards for outlets, including supervision and direction of service staff. Setting up and leading the staff during the shift to maximize productivity, using the sequence of service, maintaining dining room order, order-taking, expediting, stocking and delivery of food and beverage items. In addition, attend meetings related to outlets when Director is not present, organize and leading front of the house outlet employee meetings.

The Food & Beverage Outlets Manager will assist in overseeing all F&B Outlets while on duty, while projecting Hard Rock’s high standards of service and professional hospitality at all times.  This person must create an exceptional climate of professional & personable service that ensures the long-term satisfaction of team members, guests and owners as well as embrace and embody the Hard Rock Hotel’s Mission, Mottos and Operating Values.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years related management experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Food & Beverage operations.
  • Possesses a positive attitude and the desire to motivate others.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on several projects simultaneously should pose a challenge without being overwhelming. Including timely completion of projects.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize several projects and use the departments/company resources to achieve success.
  • Command of various software programs – MICROS POS Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule not excluding overnight shifts.
