AND Digital is a fast growing mid-sized, soon to be over 500 people tech company operating both in and outside the UK. It is made up of talented technical minds who build software, developing impactful apps and websites that are used across the globe and deliver forward-thinking technology/digital and product strategy for big name brands. We are looking for an experienced and broad skilled Marketing Lead to take on an important lead role within the business to drive the Marketing Strategy and take accountability for all Marketing activities across AND Digital.

The Marketing Lead will work closely with the core management team and client acquisition teams across multiple locations in the UK (with an outlook to go international within a year or so) to develop a plan of creative and strategic activities and campaigns to support us in reaching our very ambitious business goals:

  • Build our tech brand and support the company in becoming leaders in digital transformation
  • Drive demand origination to support our ambitious growth
  • Scale/professionalise marketing to C-level - from data insights to positioning and delivery

Your Day to Day

  • Build yearly strategy, plan and budgeting for Marketing
    • Build the year to year strategy for the Marketing function. Having an awareness, understanding and strategic thinking about tech as well as new markets and geographies within UK and Europe for Marketing opportunities
    • Develop the company positioning and insights whilst undertaking detailed competitor analysis to position AND Digital above those in our industry
    • Build the quarter by quarter plan and own delivery of this
    • Build the budget for all Marketing activity and manage activities against spend
    • Continuous review and analysis of data (from all platforms) and feed back into your strategy to enable decision making and assessment on ROI
  • Brand Direction & Visionary
    • Develop the vision and strategy for the AND brand, the direction of the brand, own the brand guidelines and ensure the company adheres to them
  • Website
    • Own the AND Website (and.digital) and the ongoing strategy for it
    • Develop updates, instruct content and imagery changes
    • Use Google Analytics / other tools for regular assessment of activity and to test engagement to maximise investments
  • Content Strategy
    • Building content strategy for all areas
    • Develop platforms and methods for sharing (social, PR, blog, case studies etc)
    • Build ideas for creative and impactful campaigns
  • Event Strategy
    • Build out strategy for events, sponsorships, partnerships, conferences across the year for Client Acquisition
    • Sourcing external speakers for events through our network, spotting opportunities for speaker slots/ partnerships at leading industry events
    • Negotiating deals and booking
  • Video, Advertising and Awards Strategies
    • Developing ideas and strategic thinking for videos to be shared on our platforms, advertising and awards and accreditations
  • MarTech - Deciding upon strategy for technologies used across all platforms and using trial and error to get the most impact
  • Overall Management
    • Day to day line management for Marketing Coordinator to enable them to reach both team and personal objectives within Marketing
    • Teaching and knowledge transfer for Marketing Coordinator

About You

  • You’ll be an experienced Marketing Manager with at least 5+ years of previous experience within a professional service, large multidisciplinary digital agency, or digital company with a strong development capability.
  • You will be able to relate to customers who are CTO/CIO/CDO level  
  • You will be able to related to software developers and techies within our business
  • You’ll be both creative and technically minded
  • Able to work autonomously but also an effective team player working in a small team with our Client Partnership roles
  • Have a desire to build your knowledge in the world of all things digital and tech
  • Have experience of using Wordpress, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics,
  • Want to be part of a dynamic, fast paced and exciting young company environment
  • Want a central role and to make a real impact to the growth of the business
