ORIENTATION ATTENDANT POSITION 
Commitment to being an Orientation Attendant is vital to creating a strong and successful experience for the AMDA incoming students. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Tracking students' attendance on Zoom and in-person
  • Tracking progress on Canvas to make sure all assignments are completed
  • Encouraging students to attend all seminars and activities
  • Be a liaison between the Orientation Team and the students
  • Help guide students through their online and in-person Orientation
  • Weekly Meetings with incoming students and the Orientation Team
  • Attending Orientation seminars and sessions to support the incoming students 
  • Assist Orientation Coordinator in setting up and breaking down rooms
  • Assist in bag and folder preparation for Orientation check-in
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be in good standing with the school as an Alum
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs
  • Must be able to be on your feet for 8-10 hour
  • Knowledge of working with a tablet.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
 Position Information: 
  • The pay range for this position is hourly $16.
  • This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
  • Will need to wear black pants for all orientation
  • The schedule for this role is as follows:
  • (Required Availability) October 3rd – October 20th
  • (Virtual Training) October 3rd
  • (In-person Training) October 14th
  • (Virtual Orientation) October 8th- October 11th
  • (In-person Orientation) October 14th – October 20th
  • The dates provided are when availability is required. Orientation Attendants will work approximately 15 to 30 hours a week.
