AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, with campuses in Los Angeles and New York City, is one of the foremost performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre and Performing Arts, as well as a two-year conservatory programs.

We are currently seeking a part-time evening and weekend Receptionist at our New York campus. The Receptionist works closely with the security team and is responsible for answering telephones, registering and directing visitors, and performing various administrative duties as assigned. 

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close the office buildings.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department and individual.
  • Assist students and faculty with reserving rehearsal space.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance along with an organized reception area.
  • Act as liaison between students and staff.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and outside vendors.
  • Assist departments with other administrative tasks and projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years serving in an office environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
