The person we seek will join a technology team that develops e-commerce marketplaces and interfaces with our customer engagement team across several internal business units to serve external clients and integrate our internal technology stack. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess and determine programmatic and process approach to solving specific business issues within web, storefront, marketplace and connective technologies
  • Develop “stories” and use case descriptions to confirm requirements and outcomes with intended user community
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems as necessary to gain acceptance with the target user groups
  • Implement solutions within web sites, storefronts, and marketplace environments that build upon prototypes
  • Provide ongoing operational support to existing and newly developed processes and systems as necessary
  • Works to improve technical environment by enhancing or simplifying supporting systems
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, communications, or related field
  • 3-5 years related experience
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Demonstrable experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, SCSS, jQuery, etc.
  • Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
  • Experience with building APIs and services
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and ERP software desired
  • Strong interpersonal skills as an effective bi-directional communicator
  • Comfortable as a contributing team member as well as leading work streams
Travel Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Noise level is typically moderate
