Position Summary

A kitting operator works on an assembly line that produces energy and water saving kits with product, literature and appropriate mailing labels. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

  • Stage lines, prepare product and boxes, cut down corrugated boxes
  • Confirm products, literature and labels are correct
  • Work efficiently on an assembly line to pack items in a box or bag
  • Build pallets of finished kits for shipping

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Kitting/Assembly Line/Warehouse experience preferred 

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus
  • Able to stand for extended amount of time
  • Able to work in hot and cold conditions
  • Able to work well in a team oriented environment
  • Able to utilize basic arithmetic skills 

Travel Requirements

  • No travel required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Required to sit, stand, walk; talk and hear; and ability to touch and handle tools and/or controls
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Noise Level is typically moderate
  • Employee could be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles and risk of potential shock
