Talent Acquisition Manager – Digital (Long Term Contract)

In this critical role within the AlixPartners’ Corporate Services team, you will be a part of the Digital Talent Management team, managing and executing these and other related strategies throughout North America.

Known internally as Independent Contractor - Talent Acquisition Manager – Americas Digital, this is a full-time role located in one of the following locations: Southfield, Michigan, New York City, New York or Dallas, Texas. This position reports to the People Business Partner – Americas Digital. Paid relocation is not available. Position may be contract-to-hire.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Digital leadership as a strategic partner to understand the hiring needs and deliver on growth objectives
  • Lead recruiting delivery for the Digital practice by collaborating and establishing rapport with internal and external sources, build a pipeline of high potential and diverse candidates
  • Screen, interview and lead recruiting events. Efficiently schedule and move candidates through our recruiting process while ensuring a high-touch candidate experience
  • Participate in campus recruiting events as necessary

Recruiting Operations and Management:

  • Maintain and regularly report on talent metrics that will help link recruitment, onboarding, training and performance metrics to Digital business goals. Identify standard methodologies for Recruiting and implement new programs as appropriate for the practice
  • Collaborate with PBP and broader Digital team to identify and implement process improvements and assist with the overall recruiting strategy
  • Establish alignments throughout the firm and participate cross-functionally to deliver on firmwide projects
  • Additional responsibilities as identified


  • 8+ years of recruiting experience, or equivalent, ideally in a professional services firm
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Human Resources or related area highly preferred
  • Process oriented, data and metrics driven. Experience in developing, tracking, and reporting of recruiting metrics and results
  • Hands on work-style and expertise in cultivating recruiting strategies and full lifecycle recruiting of candidates at a variety of levels including the executive level
  • Ability to influence others, establish effective relationships and networks
  • High energy, proactive, flexible, organized, customer-centric, with a strong business insight
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills to allow for identification of causes and drive toward a solution in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong written/verbal communication, listening skills and presence; proactively-communicates, and modulates communication to audience, including executive leaders and staff at all levels
  • Understanding of current employment legislation and carrying out regulations with managers and recommending procedural improvements
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and proficiency of applicant tracking system management techniques
  • Ability to work full time in a dynamic office environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the work day
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
