Sr. Manager, Conversion Specialist Team (Inside Sales):


The Manager of the Conversion Specialist Team will be responsible for leading a vital segment of our business, focused mainly on two functions: Connecting consumers with our top Invisalign practices, to assist in converting more consumers to Invisalign patients.  Your team will handle very “warm” leads and focus on transitioning interested patients to enter treatment into the world’s most popular clear aligner treatment system.  The Invisalign brand is synonymous with innovation and incredible results, which means we need only the best to convey a premium brand value proposition.  

You will manage a team of more than 40, consisting of Inbound Lead Generation Specialists, Team Leads, and Supervisors, as well as select support personnel, and foster a strong sales culture designed to reward results.  We are looking for an incredible leader that can create the right balance of sales results and teamwork, while consistently achieving stellar sales results, and finally encouraging an environment consistent with Align’s Company values.  The Consumer Conversion department is a fast paced, high volume atmosphere, and this positions requires a Senior Manager to thrive in such an environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·Manages an expanding regional operation currently in North America and Latin America, with additional reports outside of HQ in Raleigh·Willing to travel to the satellite locations as needed·Foster a culture that reward top sales members and consistently achieves quota results·Establishes and maintains a merit-based, dynamic work environment that appeals to the top talent in the field and enables operational objectives·Provides vision, planning & prioritization for team resources, delegating and assigning projects, duties, and objectives·Focuses on building and improving process efficiencies within team·Provides reports on team metrics and results to department leadership and stakeholders·Prepares and/or presents department metrics, insights, and progress to Senior leadership upon request·Establishes and maintains relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department·Partners with recruiting team on the acquisition and retention of people resources to fulfill team mission successfully. Owns the selection process, and helps junior leaders within the department to grow into a similar role by mentoring the recruiting, interviewing, and selection process·Provides/organizes ongoing training, coaching and mentoring for team members.·Lead and guide the build and implementation of the PCS Coaching Model (part of Align’s America’s Model)·Performs ongoing analysis of customer engagement and takes the necessary measures to increase product usage and adoption·Drives the systems and processes to acquire new/updated consumer insights, then delivers those insights to key stakeholders outside the department·Maintains effective communication with clients, sales executives and other sales support team members·Progressively manages and assesses employee competencies and development·Manages the annual review process, to ensure on time and effective communication of all department reviews. Mentors junior leadership where applicable, and completes all reviews for any direct reports (Team Leads, Supervisors, etc)·Consistently is mindful of employee engagement feedback and tailors positive change to improve in the indicated areas.·Applies basic understanding of internal tools for documentation and reporting requirements; runs standard reports and reviews them regularly·Participates in cross-functional teams and serves as the liaison for Customer Care·Leads performance management processes in cases where agents are not performing up to expected levels, up to and including separation of those mentioned, according to HR standards

·Enthusiastic: Motivate and engage agents/team members to achieve revenue targets·Leadership: Grow & develop a team of inside sales reps, and leadership reports, guiding team on best practices for pipeline management, demand generation, and goal achievement·Metrics-driven: Measure and analyze key performance indicators to drive improved performance and accountability, and design presentations of KPI attainment for delivery to Senior Leadership·Strategic: Identify and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize sales performance, as well as capture and deliver consumer insights valuable to other departments·Budget: Effectively manage department budget to ensure spends are within those allowed, including and adjustments that might occur within the annual scope


·College Graduate (BA/BS) required·5+ years sales management experience in an inside sales environment·Preferably experience in hospitality, healthcare or technology, selling a premium brand·Direct to consumer preferred·Experience managing members of leadership (Team Leads, Supervisors)·Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals·Proven ability to learn technical product knowledge in a highly complex industry·Experience managing employee acquisition and budget processes·Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and·A successful track record of working with managers and executives at high levels in the organization, as well as end-users·Proven track record of problem solving skills, analytical capabilities, and collaboration skills, business analysis experience (including implementation, tracking, problem resolution and reporting)
