Job Summary

This key position will be the primary provider of Finance support to North America Strategic Partners. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the sales force, internal Align stakeholders and top customers for all financial matters.  Responsibilities will range from managing the relationship with our partners accounting to managing special handling requests relating to invoicing and payments pertaining to both Invisalign and iTero business.  This position will report to the Director, NA Finance and will work closely with Sales, Sales Operations and AR/Collections teams.

 

Job Description

This role will work closely with Special Markets Sales teams in structuring contracts, understanding the inner working of Align’s systems and processes to ensure contracts adhere to company polices and capabilities.  This person will also serve as a liaison to the Finance departments within top customers focusing on accuracy of billing, maintaining precise listings of affiliated doctors, understanding financial implications of contracts and managing billing preferences.  This person will also be the bridge from partner finance organizations to Align internal support such as collections and IT. Point of contact concierge for Special Markets Partners for Finance related inquires and requests.

 

Specific tasks will include but not limited to:

·Ensuring financial integrity in calculated partner rebates, discounts and ensuring billing accuracy·Managing distribution, tracking, monitoring of installation of capital equipment business. ·Understanding and working with the customer with regards to system and process needs·Analyze and resolve pricing disputes·Manage overpayments and credit requests·Credit checks on new partners·Monitor credit limits and proactively reach out to Biz Dev Mgr as issues arise·Monitor road map initiatives or projects and understand the implications on customers

Requirements/Education

·4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable and Credit/Collections·Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field·Strong analytical skills and experience in MS Excel required·Strong communication skills required·Ability to prepare and analyze month end journal entries and accruals·Ability to craft recommendations and present it effectively·Experience in major ERP software (SAP) and CRM software (salesforce.com)·Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
