Job Title:  Contract Negotiator and Administrator

Department:   Legal

 

 

SUMMARY

Contract Negotiator and Administrator or transactional paralegal with basic drafting experience to assist in the negotiation, coordination, administration and execution various agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, consulting agreements, supply agreements, contract renewals etc. 

 

The position requires extensive interfacing with the internal departments and international team members.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

Independent contract negotiations

Responsible for ensuring that appropriate approvals and sign-offs are obtained before execution of contracts

Coordinating with business units in the management of the agreements

Enter completed contracts into contract database

Back up to asklegal@aligntech.com alias for assignment of all projects through the alias

Back up manager for EA system tool and assignment of all projects submitted through the EA tool

Ensuring agreements are consistent with the business objective and legal guidelines

Contract Renewals

Special Projects

 

 

Additional responsibilities:

 

Ensures the prompt fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the group.

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

Accurate, detail oriented

Ability to provide high quality product in a timely manner

Efficient, effective and well organized

Excellent, professional communication and telephone skills

Efficient in the Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

 

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Preferred 4+ year of experience in the contracts field

4 year degree
