Summary:

Learning Delivery Specialist delivers various learning solutions to support business objectives and development needs across Al Jazeera Media Network. Specialist supports training and learning delivery analysis and evaluation, promotes learning, and evaluates learning solutions in accordance with agreed quality standards.  Specialist will be involved in training design and learning projects as and when required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Training Solutions in the analysis, design, and evaluation of training programs
  • Delivers and/or coordinates  delivery of agreed internal and/or external training and learning items, curricula and programs across the Network
  • Delivers train-the-trainer and peer training programs for divisions and job-specific trainers as identified throughout the Network
  • Identifies and works closely with external suppliers to build an offering of training and learning activities that can include new starters, professional skills, management and leadership development, and competency development in line with business objectives and needs
  • Acts as lead administrator of the Learning Management System (LMS), and is responsible for maintaining content and providing an excellent user experience
  • Develops and implements procedures for LMS processes
  • Maintains accuracy of complex LMS processes such as application of course
  • Provides LMS training and support to the Network
  • Facilitates end user training of LMS
  • Monitors daily activity and project status to ensure timely and effective delivery of training
  • Assists with coordination of training logistics
  • Evaluates effectiveness of training and learning activities, and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes
  • Prepares reports related to trends in training/learning evaluations
  • Partners with Training Solutions to input new and maintain current curriculum information.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in learning delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree Masters preferred (organizational development, leadership, HR, communications, organizational psychology)
  • Certification preferred (HR, training delivery, learning and development)
  • Awareness of latest L&D trends
  • Experienced in learning and development specifically adult learning principles, needs assessment and basic instructional design principles
  • Experienced in LMS administration
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite (advanced skills)
  • Experience with engagement with third party suppliers when delivering learning solutions
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced facilitation skills
  • Effective project management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in teams 
  • Coaching skills preferred
  • Ability to interact with all levels in the organization 
  • Travel may required
  • Fluency in Arabic is advantageous
