Position Summary:
Experienced Apprentice Sheetmetal Technician(s) required for Commercial Service/Installation work for existing and new customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform service repairs on existing building ductwork distribution systems
- Basic troubleshooting skills
- Assist in installation of various types of HVAC equipment and associated ductwork
- Installation of appliance venting, combustion air, etc
- Interpret blueprints, determining material takeoffs, ordering of necessary job materials
- Safe work practices, provide a high level of customer service
Job Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Alberta Apprentice Certification
- Valid Alberta Driver’s License
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Excellent Math and problem solving skills
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required
