Position Summary:

Ainsworth is looking for a Regional Coordinator to support our dynamic fast passed operations & business development team. Reporting directly to the Vice President Western & Central Ontario, the ideal candidate will be a motivated, high energy and flexible with a "can do" attitude to take initiative, be organized and provide professional support to the regional leaders with respect to their projects, scheduling, communications and all related administrative tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist the regional team in determining priorities and workflow by organizing and/or attending meetings and handling various other tasks (agendas, business travel, speakers, conferences, budgets) to reach the objectives set for the department
  • Provides project management assistance and research support for special projects as required
  • Provide logistical and coordination support to the regional team (e.g. organize meetings, minutes, prepare agenda, deliver presentations etc.)
  • Provide management with information and statistics on various aspects of the line of business, and prepare relevant weekly/monthly operating reports that could include a financial analysis, performance results, productivity standards, and portfolio and workforce structure
  • Develop and maintain efficient, effective database systems and files to meet management’s needs while observing established standards
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key members of each of Ainsworth’s business units and the leadership team.
  • Manage relationships with internal & external stakeholders to ensure expectations are effectively managed, proactively following up with contacts to ensure that all deliverables are achieved in real-time

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or other relevant disciplines
  • 3-5 years in a regional coordination role with experience providing support to executives
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the proven ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, on-time deliverable environment
  • Creative and proactive communication skills both written and verbal and consensus-building skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work through conflict, build trust, and influence outcomes through outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Conceptual thinker with creative and strong business acumen
  • Results-oriented and data-driven
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
