Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Operations, the Director of Manufacturing is responsible for the management and direction of all company manufacturing operations and personnel. This person promotes a culture of continuous improvement in operations and employee development. The individual will promote AGS company strategic initiatives throughout the manufacturing organization and play an integral role in the achievement of AGS goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Align goals and objectives in the manufacturing organization to the global company strategies
  • Develop and manage effective KPI’s linked to organization goals and objectives
  • Promote a focus on creating value for customers both internal and external
  • Works collaboratively with Product Management to align operational capabilities with short/long term customer needs
  • Develop team, mentor and coach all direct staff. Help develop organizational capacity and build future leaders for the organization
  • Demonstrated professionalism in delivering results together with people, and a natural talent for building trust and earning respect both internally and externally
  • Provide the necessary leadership to promote change throughout the organization and continue to develop and lead a world class manufacturing organization.
  • Direct and support continuous improvement activities, involving cross-functional support when appropriate
  • Ensure a safe work environment for employees
  • Work closely with Quality Manager to continually improve the quality management system
  • Ensure people and processes function according to AGS Compliance requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business-related discipline
  • 5+ years in an operational leadership role
  • A strong background in continuous improvement and lean best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
