This entry-level field service position is responsible for the servicing, installing, converting, upgrading and preventive maintenance of all AGS gaming equipment.  The Field Service Technician I position does not work standard hours, as work activities may occur throughout a 24-hour day, 7 days a week, including holidays.  This position works remotely in the Temecula, CA area and  reports to the Regional Field Service Manager.  Use of your personal vehicle will be required with mileage reimbursement until a company vehicle can be provided to you. 

Essential Functions:

  • Performs preventive maintenance and general maintenance
  • Completes all reports and paperwork in a timely manner
  • Has great customer service skills
  • Completes assigned projects in regards to customer service
  • Keeps parts inventory current at all times
  • Troubleshoots and repairs service incidents in a timely manner and escalates as necessary
  • Completes Work Orders on slot machines and table games
  • Services all customers in the Southern California region with occasional travel to Nevada and Arizona as needed
Education Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Entry level, gaming experience is not necessary, but is a plus
  • Must have 2 years’ experience in electronics and/or computer networking
  • Requires licensing approval by tribal and/or state gaming regulators
Job Knowledge/Work Experience:
  • Mechanically inclined; able to use hand tools
  • Able to move 75 pounds with assistance

Computer/Technical Skills:
  • Basic computer skills required; may need to use all tools from Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Will be required to complete mandatory electronics course, provided by the Company
  • Will need to understand basic AC/DC electronics
  • Needs basic understanding of computer networking
