Scuba.com, nestled in the heart of Manhattan, is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Warehouse Manager to lead our stock team. With a deep-rooted love for the ocean and all aquatic endeavors, we are eager to welcome an individual who shares our enthusiasm. This role encompasses managing our dive shop’s inventory (returns & receiving), handling stock transfers, and managing our stockroom team while working closely with the Director of Sales to provide exceptional service to our valued dive shop customers. Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse management experience.
- Solid understanding of dealing with inventory health.
- Ability to assist in store displays and stocking shelves.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs.
- Having your Scuba Certification is a plus.
- History in the Sporting Goods or Scuba industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Shipping - Making sure all orders are packed and shipped on time.
- Receiving Stock Purchase Orders – Making sure PO’s that are arriving in NY are being stocked and put on shelf.
- Transfers – taking lead on all transfers to and from warehouse locations are being fulfilled.
- Transfer Requests – putting in transfer requests for the store from other locations.
- Store Pick Up orders – making sure Store PU orders are being processed.
- Inventory – making sure inventory is accurate.
- Store picking – ensure stock is being picked from warehouse to the sales floor efficiently.
- Well-staffed – making sure we are staffed for all stock room needs to be executed
- Returns – processing mail order/website returns
The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience.
